Sensei Wu, as depicted in The LEGO Ninjago Movie (TLNM), is a wise and enigmatic master of Spinjitzu. He is the uncle of Lloyd Garmadon and brother to the villainous Lord Garmadon.
Wu is responsible for training the secret ninja force – Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, and Nya – in the art of Spinjitzu and guiding them on their quest to protect Ninjago City from his brother's attacks. His first appearance in this iteration of the character is in The LEGO Ninjago Movie.
Despite his age and sometimes eccentric methods, Wu is a powerful warrior and a font of ancient wisdom. He constantly pushes his students to realize their full potential, both as ninja and as individuals, using riddles, unorthodox training exercises, and sage advice.
